SYB History

In the late 1990s, Makarand Bagul and Sangeeta Bagul, driven by a passion for education and entrepreneurship, embarked on a remarkable journey by establishing an educational institution named Mahatma Phule Sanstha in Dhule, Maharashtra. Their initial endeavour focused onimparting knowledge about bag manufacturing. Recognizing the vast potential in this field, they took the bold step of launching their bag manufacturing company in the B2B and B2G segment in the year 2000.

With dedication and hard work, their business thrived, and their customer base increased to 14 different districts of Maharashtra. Their clientele included esteemed government cooperatives such as the Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal (MAVIM) and financial cooperative institutions like SBI.
The range of bags they produced was diverse, encompassing tool kit bags, office bags, suitcases,and school bags.
Despite Makarand’s initial success, the company encountered numerous challenges, leading to its closure after just two years of operation. Factors such as unreliable electricity supply, poorly maintained roads, and transportation issues were pivotal in this unfortunate turn of events.
Two decades later, Mr. Yash Bagul resurrected his parents’ dream. He initiated a luggage manufacturing venture named SYB Enterprises, determined to fulfil his parents’ vision. In 2020,SYB Enterprises opened its first unit, specializing in duffle trolley bags.
